  • These test strips offer a quick and easy way to monitor nitric oxide (NO) status, reflecting the body's ability to produce this vital molecule.
  • The strips assess two key factors in NO production: sufficient intake of nitrate-rich foods or supplements and the presence of oral nitrate-reducing bacteria.
  • Regular monitoring with these strips allows for personalized adjustments to diet and lifestyle, optimizing NO production for various health benefits.
  • Using the strips in conjunction with supplements like Designs for Health’s Vascanox HP® and NOx Synergy™ provides a comprehensive approach to NO support.
  • Monitors nitric oxide production effectively
  • Supports cardiovascular health maintenance
  • Promotes informed dietary adjustments
  • Tracks effectiveness of NO-boosting supplements
  • Aids in optimizing athletic performance
  • Supports healthy aging process

It is suggested to test first thing in the morning, then take Designs for Health’s Vascanox HP®. Test again one to two hours later to confirm nitric oxide (NO) bioavailability for a comprehensive NO support program. One may also consider using Design for Health’s NOx Synergy™, which contains the amino acid precursors for nitric oxide production.* NUMBER OF TIMES PER DAY: At least twice a day (once first thing in the morning and another test one to two hours after nitrate-containing supplement or meal). Can be used multiple times a day for hourly or daily monitoring. TIME OF DAY: First thing in the morning, and then one to two hours after nitrate-containing supplement or meal.

  • Dietary Nitrate and Nitric Oxide

Research indicates that dietary nitrate, found in foods like beets and leafy greens, can be converted to nitric oxide in the body, supporting cardiovascular function and exercise performance.

  • Oral Microbiome and Nitric Oxide Production

Studies suggest that the oral microbiome plays a crucial role in the conversion of nitrate to nitrite, a precursor to nitric oxide, highlighting the importance of oral health in NO production.
